The Director and Manager is Sa’id Judeh who has a degree in Music and also in Finance, Banking and Engineering. He is an accomplished percussionist and has researched folkloric music, dance, costumes, and culture by traveling, performing and studying in many different countries throughout the Arab World.
Said Judeh is Arabic folk dancer, choreographer, and founder of the Said Music and Dance Company, with over a decade of experience bringing the vibrancy and diversity of Arab culture to audiences across the United States. His work began in performance at weddings, cultural celebrations, and community events, where his dynamic presence and artistry quickly earned him recognition for creating memorable, high-energy experiences.
Over time, that work has grown into something broader and more impactful.
Today, Said collaborates with a wide range of organizations including schools, colleges, cultural institutions, community groups, and private organizations. He offers performances, workshops, and talks that introduce audiences to the richness of Arab culture in ways that are engaging, accessible, and relevant across many settings. His work is often featured during heritage celebrations such as Arab American Heritage Month, and is also presented throughout the year in classrooms, cultural programs, and community events.
Said’s approach goes well beyond dance. His programs offer a vivid exploration of Arab culture through multiple entry points that audiences immediately connect with. He introduces traditional and contemporary dance alongside the stories behind them, explains the role of music and rhythm, and brings attention to cultural traditions across different regions of the Arab world. He often incorporates discussion of food, regional dishes, and the ways meals bring people together, as well as traditional clothing and costumes, including their meaning, variation, and historical context. Through storytelling and lived experience, he creates a fuller picture of daily life, celebration, and cultural identity that resonates with diverse audiences.
His work can be adapted across a wide range of educational and community contexts, including:
K–12 schools, supporting subjects such as social studies, world cultures, music, and health
Colleges and universities, enhancing programs in humanities, anthropology, ethnic studies, and the arts
Community and cultural organizations, seeking engaging, inclusive programming
Private and corporate events, looking for authentic cultural experiences
In addition to performing, Said serves as a cultural presenter, speaker, and consultant, working with educators and organizers to design programs that foster understanding, spark curiosity, and create meaningful connections across cultures.
Each engagement is tailored to the audience, whether it is an interactive school workshop, a classroom visit, a campus event, or a large-scale cultural performance. The result is an experience that is both educational and memorable.
